The Rancho Murieta Community Services District (RMCSD) provides water, wastewater, and recycled water services to the residents and businesses in the Rancho Murieta community, which is located approximately 25 miles southeast of Sacramento along the Jackson Highway (Highway 16). Lumos was retained by the District to provide Capital Improvement Planning services and a Utility Rate Study for its water and wastewater resources. This ongoing work includes the assembly of an inventory of the District’s assets, identification of planned expansion to existing infrastructure through review of approved tentative maps and the District Integrated Water Master Plan and Sewer Master Plan, and the upcoming development of a Revenue and Expense Projection model.
